I suspect this message is coming from Windows 10, as nothing else will open or work until I answer yes or no. If I say 'yes" everything seems to proceed noramlly but, of course if I say "no' Wordperfect doesn't load. But when I open WP I get an annoying "User Account Control" window that asks if I want to allow this app to make changes to my device/computer. So WP seems to work fine, considering the limited testing I've done. I have had Wordperfect X4 on Win 7 for some years and I am comfortable with it and have macros, etc., that i want to retain. So over the weekend I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (upgraded as opposed to a fresh install). Will try to update as more info becomes available and.as always, with your forbearance, I am sure I will have questions. Might be a work-around as simple as closing the document before closing WP. I haven't explored all the implications of that as yet (got it to work once) but ctrl-alt -del allows me to close WP and allow me to start over. Well, I did the upgrade and so far everything seems to work except on of my macros hangs and freezes WP.
